We are planning a day of information — both about MS & Boston! Following the information session in the morning we will set off from the Museum of Science and tour Boston in style. Lunch, parking and tickets to the Museum of Science are included. Dr. Tanuja Chitnis, MS neurologist, Dr. David Rintell, family counselor, Gretchen Timmel, educational liaison, and staff from the National MS Society will present information about MS before the tours and be available during lunch for further questions and networking. Children and teens will be able to network with their peers and have some fun and learn more about MS.
This important and exciting program for children and teens with MS brings families together to learn more in an environment geared to make kids feel comfortable asking questions, talking to others going through similar situations, or just listening.
Financial assistance is available to families in need and can include transportation and overnight accommodations for those traveling long distances. For more information, please contact Amber Stalker at 1-800-493-9255.
